INCH was built as a limited, event-only release — three large-ring-gauge cigars presented as a single gift object rather than a standard box-pressed count. The brief called for something that reads as premium in hand before it's even opened: weight, a controlled reveal, and finishing that could carry gold foil without looking loud.

Structure

The outer sleeve slides away from a rigid black tray, so the first motion of opening the piece exposes the cigars directly against black — the reveal does the presenting, rather than a printed panel doing it for them. The dieline keeps the sleeve, gold hot-stamp band, and QR-coded side panel aligned across three different production orientations (top, closed, and open), which had to be checked and corrected at each stage of the render and physical proof.

Finishing

The gold foil edge treatment and the E.P. Carrillo seal needed to hold up under the lounge's own lighting and in product photography, so foil placement was tested against both a matte black field and the lighter dieline pattern before locking the final art.
